Good evening my fellow Americans!

I can't tell you how glad I am to see all the people here today.  It's time our leaders were shown that April 15th wasn't just a flash in the pan.  We're here, we're not going away, and we're not going to take it anymore!

We're not going to let the government continue to steal from our children, racking up a huge national debt.  We're not going to let the government inflate our currency, and devalue the money in our pockets.  We're not going to let the government tax and regulate us into oblivion.  We're not going to let the government bail out failure while penalizing success.

Why not?  Because THE government is OUR government.  It doesn't belong to the banks.  It doesn't belong to Federal Reserve.  It doesn't belong to the special interests.  It doesn't belong to the unions, OR the management at General Motors.  And it sure as hell doesn't belong to our elected officials, our fine public _servants_.  No, this nation belongs to US.  It belongs to the PEOPLE.  And as I look around, I see a lot of people.  People that are ready to take our country back!

What OUR government is doing, is redistributing the wealth from the common citizen, and giving the spoils to banks and large corporations.  Meanwhile, small businesses everywhere are going bankrupt, through no fault of their own.  The burden of failure must be borne by those who have failed.  Yet those most directly responsible for our economic crisis are rewarded for their mistakes.

Friends, our priorities are all topsy turvy.  In America, in any free and responsible society, those who make good decisions should prosper, and those who make bad decisions should fail.  Yet today it's just the opposite.  We've passed through the looking glass, like Alice into Wonderland.  America has become an insane asylum and the inmates are in charge.

Our current course of action is not only unconscionable and unjust, it is also unsustainable.  We can't go on forever borrowing and printing money.  We cannot continue to support failed corporate and banking interests on the backs of hard working Americans.  We cannot continue to allow the few to steal from the many.

While an increasingly disconnected political elite worries that powerful special interests, banking cartels and corporate giants are 'too big to fail' the American people, the true source of our national wealth, are increasingly burdened and disadvantaged.

This nation can survive the failure of General Motors and AIG.  Yet it will not survive if we undermine our greatest strength.  The ingenuity and industriousness of the American people has always comprised our greatest resource.  When we threaten the ability of the American people to succeed, we place our future in peril.  It's past time our leaders understood that the only thing 'too big to fail' is our nation and its people.

Mark Twain famously said that the graveyards are filled with indispensible men.  Just like those before them, in their arrogance and pride, our current leaders think themselves indispensible.  They think themselves our masters, rather than our servants.

My fellow American citizens, our leaders are NOT indispensible, and they are most certainly NOT our masters.  Today we send a message to our public servants.  We will let them know, that we will not allow our nation to fade into the dark.  We will not allow the hard work and sacrifice of those before us to be dishonored.  We will not allow the flame of freedom to be extinguished.

It is time to throw out the political party elites, the corrupt shysters and hacks, and replace them with good and honest citizens.  It's time we told ALL politicians, Democrats AND Republicans, that we have reached the limit of our patience.  It's time to stand up and take our country back.  It's time to RE-DECLARE OUR INDEPENDENCE.  From this day forward, every day is Independence Day.

I will give no fealty to any party or politician, because I am a free man.  I was born free, I intend to live free, and by almighty God I intend to DIE free.  I ask you to stand with me, and stand for your beliefs.  Thank you.
